TEXANA CENTER -Charter Non-Profit Bronze Member
Texana Center is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that provides services to children with autism, adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities and adults and children with behavioral health issues.
Texana is “changing lives” everyday, whether we help an adult with an intellectual disability who has learned to ride public transport for the first time on their own; or a child with autism that utters their first word at age 5 years; or someone with a mental illness that learns that recovery is possible - we make a difference! Last year, Texana cared for and treated some 15,000 adults and children; unfortunately, there is still a waiting list for most of the programs we provide. Because of this waiting list, Texana is expanding in the Fulshear/Katy area.
Texana plans to build a campus on FM 359 at Wallis Street, which will include our nationally recognized autism and a new college-like program for adults with autism and/or intellectual disabilities who wish to continue their education and learn skills that will help them find employment. There will also be a retail training center for Texana Décor and More… where clients will be able to practice their new learned skills.
Texana Center is headquartered in Rosenberg, Texas on Airport Ave across from BF Terry High School.
